This marine aquarium fish is known as
Cockatoo Waspfish, Cockatoo Fish, Leaf Fish, Rogue Scorpion, Cockatoo Leaf-Fish, Cuckatoo Waspfish, Rouge Fish and the correct latin name is
Ablabys taenianotus. The family that this fish belongs to is called the
Wasp Fish family. (

Character and suggestions regarding care
This species is poisonous.
Cockatoo Waspfish can grow up to 15 cm what is approximately 5 inches. 1 specimen basically needs at least 1800cm
2 of water surface which is approximately 279 square inch. This fish should be kept in aquariums that are medium. (
e) Medium aquariums have at least 113 Litres (30 US Gallons). Large aquariums have at least 265 Litres (70 US Gallons). Very large aquariums hold at least 700 Litres (185 US Gallons).
It is not very difficult to keep the Cockatoo Waspfish. (
e) The specific gravity (SG) should be between 1,020 and 1,025, the temperature between 23°C (73.4°F) and 26°C (78.8°F). The pH level should be stable, varying between 8.0 and 8.3 which is usual for marine fish.
These fish can be found in Andaman Sea as well.
In nature it lives in shallow waters with medium sized rocks, seagrasses and weeds and it often looks like a leaf on the bottom. Cockatoo Waspfish is active more during the night, when it looks for something to eat.
